All Thumpstar motorcycles are delivered in steel crates covered with cardboard. Please adhere to the Thumpstar instruction manual, which is included with each bike or can be downloaded from the product page.
Thumpstar recommends using a forklift for moving the motorcycle. However, if a forklift is unavailable, a minimum of 2 adults can move the motorcycle inside the steel crate using the grab handles located at each end.
Thumpstar motorcycles come 95% assembled. The assembly process will involve putting together the front wheel, handlebars, and rear shock. Additionally, for some models, the front forks will also need to be assembled. Please refer to the Thumpstar instruction manual for detailed guidance on the assembly process.
When assembling, checking, and testing the Thumpstar motorcycle, it is recommended to allocate around 1 to 2 hours for the entire process.

For safety and warranty reasons, Thumpstar advises that a qualified motorcycle mechanic should be engaged to assemble your new Thumpstar motorcycle.
From Thumpstar Instruction Manual “Always have a Qualified Mechanic Assemble Your New Motorcycle”
"Purchasing a motorcycle in the crate without having it assembled by a Thumpstar Authorized Dealer or a qualified mechanic will void the warranty."
